We are seeking a qualified Clinical Reimbursement Consultant / MDS Coordinator for an immediate opening. Our Client provides quality, compassionate care services in order to give their patients a safe home and a loving environment. Our Client offers the following benefits:

  • $90,000 - $110,000 Starting Annual Salary, based on experience
  • Medical, depending on plan employer portion is approximately 75%
  • Dental, Only $25.48 per month
  • Vision, Only $5 per month

  • 401k: 1% after 1 year of employment
  • Paid Time Off (Earned after 90 days of Employment)
    • Years 6 or more (22 days)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

The Clinical Reimbursement Consultant / MDS Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the training of regional center partners. Additional responsibilities and requirements for the Clinical Reimbursement Consultant / MDS Coordinator include:

  • Provides expertise, consultation, and guidance to ensure MDS accuracy and adherence to company policy and procedures as well as state and federal regulations and guidelines based on information derived from audits and other available data
  • The travel for the Clinical Reimbursement Consultant is 100%
  • The territory is from Raleigh, NC to Columbia, SC
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school
  • 3 year's clinical responsibility and 3 years’ experience as an MDS Coordinator with RAI process, including analysis and staff education are required
  • 5 year's health care management and experience in multi-facility, long-term care organizations preferred
  • Current, active license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • MDS Certification through AANAC (MDS Coordinator)
